Effective Date: 01.11.2025
Owner & Provider: Anne Schubert
Business Location: Trienter Str. 8, 01217 Dresden (Germany)
Governing Law: German law and EU regulations
1. Scope of Agreement
These Terms and Conditions apply to all Services offered by Anne Schubert, including but not limited to:
- One-to-one voice, pitch, and public speaking coaching
- Group programs and trainings (online or offline)
- Webinars, workshops, and live events
- Any supporting digital materials, recordings or resources provided
By purchasing or registering for any of these services, you accept these Terms as legally binding.
2. Nature of the Services
Our coaching services support personal and professional development in a business context, focusing on:
- Voice and body awareness
- Authentic self-expression
- Presence and confidence in communication
- Pitching and high-stakes business communication
These sessions are experiential in nature, not educational programs in the formal sense. They do not include formal assessments, certifications, or structured learning objectives.
The purpose of all 1:1 coaching is to support you in:
- exploring your impact,
- gaining clarity,
- strengthening presence and delivery,
- and improving how you communicate your business or message.
This offer is based on self-experience (‚Selbsterfahrung‘ in German) and individual development. It is not a distance learning program under the German Fernunterrichtsschutzgesetz (FernUSG) and does not require ZFU (Zentralstelle für Fernunterricht) approval.
3. Participation, Conduct & Confidentiality
To ensure a professional and safe coaching environment:
- All 1:1 coaching sessions are conducted live via Zoom or comparable video conferencing platforms.
- Group settings require participants to respect the confidentiality of others.
- Discrimination, harassment, or racism are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate exclusion without refund.
- Participants may not record, distribute, or reuse course materials without prior written permission.
3.1 In-Person Coaching Session
For in-person coaching (e.g., the “Pitch Perfect Fast” program), sessions may take place:
- in a suitable venue arranged by the coach in Berlin,
- on the client’s premises (if appropriate for voice and stage work),
- or in a rented third-party location.
The coach reserves the right to decline in-person coaching at locations that are unsafe, noisy, unsuitable, or lacking necessary equipment.
4. Payment & Access
- Full payment is due upon registration unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Access to digital programs or scheduling of coaching sessions will be granted only after payment confirmation.
- Payment is processed securely via Stripe (or another authorized payment provider), integrated with our coaching platform (SOMBA).
4.1 Venue & Travel Costs for In-Person Coaching
Unless otherwise stated, the price of the in-person coaching package includes a standard 4-hour room rental within Berlin that is suitable for coaching and pitch simulation.
If the client requests:
- a premium venue,
- extended room hours,
- a location outside Berlin,
- or specific technical setups beyond a standard room,
additional costs may apply. All such costs will be communicated and agreed in writing before booking.
If the session takes place in a client-provided space, the client is responsible for the suitability and condition of the environment. The coach is not liable for limitations or issues arising from a client-provided venue.
5. Refund & Cancellation Policy
As the coaching services are interactive and live, refunds are generally not possible after purchase.
However, I value fairness and trust in our collaboration.
- One-to-one coaching:
If, after your first session, you feel that the programme is not right for you, you may request a partial refund (the cost of Session 1 will be retained).
Sessions may be rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance without penalty.
Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours‘ notice will be considered as having been completed.
If the coach must cancel a session due to illness, technical issues or force majeure, they will offer a new date at no additional cost. - In-Person Coaching – Venue-Specific Conditions: Venue bookings are subject to external cancellation policies. If a client cancels or reschedules an in-person session with less than 72 hours’ notice, venue rental costs already incurred cannot be refunded and may be deducted from any rescheduling credit. If the coach cancels, all venue fees are covered by the coach and a new date is offered.
- Group programmes and live events:
As group size and dynamics are essential to the experience, cancellations are not possible after purchase. However, if you cannot attend due to illness or exceptional circumstances, please get in touch. We will do our best to find a fair solution, such as offering you partial credit towards a future programme. - Discovery calls:
These are non-binding and offered free of charge to help you decide if coaching is right for you before committing.
All refund and cancellation requests must be made in writing via email.
Section 6 explains in detail the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases, including the option to waive it for immediate service access under § 356 (5) BGB.
6. Right of Withdrawal (EU 14-Day Rule)
As per EU consumer protection law, clients have the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days, unless:
- The service begins before the end of the 14-day period, and
- The client explicitly agrees to this, and
- Acknowledges the loss of the right to withdraw
Such consent will be collected during checkout and recorded with the purchase. If no consent is given, the coaching service will be scheduled to begin after the 14-day period.
7. Contract Duration, Termination & Rescheduling
Coaching contracts do not renew automatically.
- One-to-one coaching: Each 1:1 coaching package constitutes a full service agreement. Once the first session has taken place, the package becomes binding and non-refundable. No partial refunds will be issued for unused sessions, as time slots are reserved exclusively for you.
If exceptional circumstances arise (for example, illness or force majeure), clients may request to pause or postpone their package in writing. In such cases, the coach may offer a fair solution, such as rescheduling or limited credit towards a future programme.
Sessions can be rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance without penalty. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours‘ notice will be counted as completed.
If the coach must cancel a session due to illness, emergencies or technical issues, they will offer a new date at no additional cost. - Group Programmes: The contract ends on the last day of the programme.
No refunds will be given for missed sessions or non-participation, for any reason including illness, technical difficulties or force majeure.
However, we will make every effort to provide access to materials or recordings where possible.
8. Intellectual Property
All materials provided, including worksheets, recordings, and digital content, remain the intellectual property of Anne Schubert and may not be reused, copied, or distributed without prior written permission.
9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
Our coaching services support personal and professional development within a business context. They do not constitute therapeutic, medical or psychological treatment.
The results achieved depend on each participant’s commitment, openness and consistent practice. Although we make every effort to provide high-quality support, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes or business results.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim, loss or damage shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the relevant coaching programme or session. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as loss of income or opportunities).
9.1 Venue Liability for In-Person Coaching
When using third-party venues:
- their safety rules apply,
- the coach is not liable for equipment failures, venue defects, noise, disturbances, or external interruptions,
- the client is responsible for any damages they cause to the venue or equipment.
10. Governing Law
This agreement is subject to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Place of jurisdiction is the business location of the provider, unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter through informal negotiation. If the issue cannot be resolved amicably, the dispute shall be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the applicable laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
In accordance with EU consumer regulations, information on official consumer dispute resolution bodies is available at:
